When Teresa suggested vintage paper honeycomb - I knew I had to do a post on this one. I love things that are made out of honeycomb! L-O-V-E!
I have the usual suspects made out of honeycomb paper...Halloween pumpkins.
And the bit more unusual. A Christmas tree (as found) embellished with vintage glass garland.
This mushroom (marked Denmark) is a favorite of mine. I have this one out year round.
I huge amount of honeycomb fruit.... pineapples, apples, strawberries...a healthy for you assortment.
This is one gigantic strawberry that I didn't buy last year at the Farm Chicks show. It was huge and I just couldn't fathom what to do with it...but it was unusual!
One step inside my studio door...and you realize I am a little crazy for honeycomb as this greets you when you enter.
Honeycomb balls, honeycomb garland, honeycomb umbrellas, honeycomb bells...a corner of crazy fun (as my glittery letters spell out)!
I do have greeting cards with honeycomb embellishments as well, but didn't dig them out for this post. One nice thing about paper honeycomb is that if fold up nicely and it is easy to store! Remember every Tuesday is a collection challenge post. If you want to see if I have something, leave me a comment and finish the sentence. "Show me your collection of _______." I'll see what I can do.

I know..I know..Pin wheels..you know those things that spin in the wind!!
Did I get cha? lol

The sweet hen is my favorite! She is adorable. And I will be looking for one of those trees for the rest of my life for my tree collection. Does it fold?

Ooooohhhh....Ahhhhh....I feel like I'm watching fireworks honeycomb style! And don't forget those amazing tiny honeycomb balls you sent me not too long ago. I just LOVE them! :)

It's wild how many honeycomb thingies have made it intact this long, but I guess the fact that you can fold them and store them saved them from destruction. And then YOU find them and display them all over the freakin' place. Amazing, as usual!!!

The mushroom makes me squeal! What a find. The fruit is beautiful too--I love the colors! I remember my mom getting us those honeycomb centerpieces from Hallmark for all the different holidays when I was a kid--I think that's why I love honeycomb still. :)

Oooooh, we love these! I say "we" because my dear 12 year-old daughter was standing over my shoulder while I was reading. She adores the mushrooms! I agree! I am so excited I am cultivating that love of vintage with her!
