I am very lucky to have my studio in the backyard. The previous owners of our house had used the room as storage. It had a big sliding glass door that did not lock. We bought a French door set at Home Depot that has served me well and made the space more charming.
Unfortunately the muntins that divide the window are made of a plastic and have yellowed over time with the sun exposure. They were starting to bug me against the white of the doors (which are a vinyl door).
I decided to paint the muntins. I was told I could use a bonder to make the paint adhere better, but decided to see how it wears without that step. I can always repaint if it does not hold up. I used two of the little sample jars of Benjamin Moore Petunia Pink.
I like the pale pop of color and I think my concrete friends that guard the door are enamoured with the new look as well.

Like the pop of color you put on the muntins.I had no idea that's what those were called.Sitting here with my coffee and enjoying your garden and the concrete friends surrounding the entrance.
Love the little Kewpie doll.....such a cute face! Of course I'm partial to the elf on the mushroom LOL.
Thanks for sharing!Got my little push from you to go arrange my little friends now :-)

Looks great. Love the pink! I do NOT enjoy painting windows. You did a great job. Did it cover with one coat? Hope so.
Sweet kewpie.
Your little studio looks like a magazine glossy.

What a charming color for your studio windows. You have the darling garden statues.

Charming. I had similar problems in the last house and used a liquid sandpaper. Great product no problems except an added step. These look wonderful. Wouldn't have it any other way. Its a shame the neighbor didn't have a solution in the trash bin though...smiles...Renee

Oh, paiting them pink instead of white was the perfect choice! Love that little concrete "kewpie", too. Sweet.

That pink really did the job of making your studio even more charming. I'm sure your outdoor friends think so too.
