My Mom and I are headed to Seattle, Washington to go to the Antiques Roadshow.
You have to submit your name into a lottery system to get tickets for the event. My mom and I both did this and she got lucky with winning a pair of tickets. Looking forward to a behind the scene look at a favorite show!
I am not taking anything I think will bring me millions (I don't think), but will be interesting to know a bit more about a few items I own. Post coming on the show...

What a fun thing! I can't wait to see what you post about it...I love hearing the history and back stories of a person's treasures. =D

I won tickets to the Antiques Roadshow a few years ago when they were in San Jose. Did not have anything that enabled me to quit my day job but it was so much fun!! I shocked at how small the set was, it looks so much bigger on TV. You will have a great time!!

Have a great time! I don't think I have a million-dollar treasure (just a million $1 treasures, more like it...) Looking forward to hearing all about it.

I also put in for tickets this year and won. My mom and I were going to go. I say "were" because, stupid me, I applied to the show in South Dakota thinking it was in Sioux Falls (about a 3 hour drive from me). Turns out it was actually in Rapid City (a 10 hour drive) whoops. In the end we decided it was too far to drive. Anyway, hope you have a great time and get great appraisals on your treasures!

Have a great time - can't wait to hear how it went! When they were going to be in my neck of the woods a few years back I put my name in to get tickets but didn't get any.
My sister did, though, and took my mom - and of course they took along some items to be appraised. My mom's things had some value, but my sister's "antiques" didn't at all.
And wouldn't you know it, I was going to take a particular item that I'm pretty sure was worth more than what my mom had brought. But that's how it goes.
