Fortunately we had a dry day here today. I spent the afternoon in my driveway prepping for the Plucky Maidens show that starts Friday.
I like to draw a chalk outline of my space and then gather and brainstorm props and layout.
This step helps me make sure I don't forget something that I need and get everything out.
My collection of child's ironing boards make great display shelves.
I think my favorite thing about setting up this skeleton layout is seeing it all come to life at the show. I have so much vintage holiday to make one over the top booth. I will take lots of pictures.
If you live in the Portland area come get Plucky at the show. It should be a great event!
If you are really feeling the Plucky love pop over to Facebook and hit "like"..they are ONE "like" short of 2000! Be that number 2000..or 2001..2002!
Happy day! Hope to see you at Plucky Maidens!

Goodness. I need to find a higher education conference in Portland during the month of November so that my work can cross paths with your holiday shows. Your displays are pure eye candy. Best wishes.

I couldn't believe the weather today for mid-November in the PNW -- beautiful! I do the same plan-a-gram thing before a show except it's in my living room and then I take a photo so I don't forget. Looking forward to seeing all the Ethel holiday glory at Plucky this weekend! woo-hoo!

What a clever way to prepare for a show. I'm sure that it makes it just that much easier to set up the day of the show and helps to relieve any show day jitters. Happy Selling. You'll do great.
