Musings from Kim K.

Love the red/white combination of this collection. The varying font-styles makes them especially fantastic!

I bet you could work those in to your Valentine decor. Nice little collection!

Very cute little collection. I have always loved the old salt and pepper like these. Use to collect them but got rid of them long ago.

There are so many different holidays that you can use red and white to decorate for so it's almost a rule that you have to collect these!

Amazing how many "little" collections start huh? I didn't realize how many collections I have until I started going through everything. Cute collection of red and white!

Love these. They are great together!

Great grouping... love the art deco styling of some of those bottles. Very cute!

The round salt and pepper shakers are quite unique - haven't seen any like them before. There's just something about red & white kitchenware that brings us all back to grandma's house, isn't there?

The salt/pepper set that your family friend gave you is quite collectible. The pattern is called Flowerpots by Anchor Hocking Fire-King. The lids are HTF and there is a matching grease jar. You are SOOOOO fortunate to have them! Love the whole collection, but especially the Flowerpots!!!

These are sweet - love old red and white kitchen stuff. I don't have any of these, but I do have a lot of Salt and Peppy's - do you have those?

Vintage Christine

Ha! I have red and white s&p's on my blog, too! Mine are Fire-King but in the Tulip pattern, and I also have the grease jar. My kitchen colors are red, white and yellow. Love your collection!

Whatever the collection name is, it's cute!!!

How do you decide which one/set to use at the kitchen table? Show me your collection of poodles.

Betty in Arlington

Yes, yes! I had an aunt who had lots of crazy salt and pepper shakers in the kitchen, atop her large coal- burning stove! Aunt Jemima and twin, salt written vertically on most, too. Those red lids bring back memories of visits to family in central New Jersey!!

I'm new here so don't know if you've done these but I have recently begun new two collections - toothpick holders for hors d'oeuvres - I've found a pineapple and a porcupine that are adorable and the other is a collection of small delft windmills. It's surprising how many different styles of tiny windmills are out there!
