Friday. Crazy day for me as I prepare for my craft sale tomorrow at All Saints. (If you live in the Portland, Oregon area stop by - N.E. 39th and Glisan, 9-5 and tell me hello!) Anyhooooo, I WAS NOT going to hit estate sales today as I just had too much on my plate. I had a few morning errands to run and there just happened to be a sale just off the route I was taking. The ad didn't sound amazing. Note - even tho I WAS NOT going to hit any sales I still read the classifieds. Estate sale addiction pure and simple. So I decided since I was so close I would hit just that one. Am I glad I did.
Living estate of 92 year old woman who was trying to clear out her house. The weird thing was that there was only one other buyer there. The regulars must have been at other sales. The living room had lots of glassware and Tupperware. Thought I'd head upstairs...BINGO! Xmas and craft stuff!
Old glitter, misc craft stuff, a great Edgemont cracker tin (same green as my kitchen) and a cool little blue glass pepper shaker (no salt tho).
LOTS of tiny loose ornaments, Christmas corsages, 10 boxes of small ornaments (hallelujah!), and a great book called "The Camp Fire Girls in High school" - couldn't find a date on it, but it is old.
Love the graphics on these playing cards. Five decks total. One unopened deck with horse graphics. And a set of 4 kids' cards games. I really like the bird illustrations. I hadn't seen that deck before either.
Old wooden doll heads and a bunch of vintage belt buckles - some jeweled.
You may wonder why I bought these four boxes - especially the one on the top left with the hair curler thingys.
The boxes they came in had great pictures!
Cool old wrapping paper.
Love the colors are these stamens for flower making!
Not a bad haul. I found so much good stuff I was a bit giddy! Totally put me in a awesome mood all day...thank goodness I justified stopping!
I love it when I find great stuff at a sale I wasn't even planning on going to. I always think "it was meant to be." Nice haul. See you later!

Dang woman! You scored AGAIN! Good luck with the craft show today. I'll be doing a show today too at my son's high school and 3000 miles away from Portland. ~~~~XXOO, Beth

I cannot believe you found all of those vintage x-mas items in one place. I am so jealous right now that I think I may pass out. Just incredible. It's been far too long since I have been to an estate sale.
