This is a busy time of year for me, but I still pull out a few vintage Thanksgiving decorations.
21 pilgrims and 12 turkeys (all vintage) have colonized my china hutch.
My crazy turkey collection.
I love the vintage turkey plates and this silly handmade turkey with the body of a pine cone and the tail feathers made from an old cupcake paper.
Silly huh?
This is my favorite turkey in my collection. And the peacock I mentioned in the title of this post? Well......
I got this handmade guy the other day. When I bought him, it was a quick purchase with a bunch of other stuff. I thought he was a turkey. When I got him home and added him to my turkey collection...something looked fishy...I think he may be a peacock. So now my Thanksgiving collection includes the oh so traditional Thanksgiving peacock! Cast your vote - Turkey or Peacock? Have a wonderful Turkey/Peacock day...altho I hope peacock won't be on the menu!
Happy Thanksgiving, Laurie! Not surprisingly, we share a love of those Gurley pilgrim & turkey candles! Hope your shows have been going well - the merchandise sure is gorgeous!

Yep, I'd say he's a peacock. Oh well, at least he's festive!!

Call him a "purkey" hee-hee. Tom Purkey, the odd relative.
