I too found a couple great Jars this past weekend. I love the fact that I can see what I have, otherwise I forget. And yes great Eye Candy.
Hugs, Diane

Great idea - they look great. Hey, the jar with the red picket fence and the bunnies and such? I've got a couple of them, too.

I love jars too! I recently got some great old Meyercord decals from Ebay, and you're right about some being easier than others to apply. One of them slid off in pieces. I have that same tulip bunny lamb jar, but it's missing it's lid. I'm a bit drooly over that pink thermo-jug! How cute!

I'm the same way - I love old jars and I use them for everything.

Have a great day,

My Shabby Roses

I'm a sucker for old jars too! I just did the same thing with a few jars for the show. Boy, those old decals were totally frustraiting me. I went through one by one as they fell apart in my fingers. It's pretty dissappointing! The new ones work so much better but there's just something about the look of the old ones I love so much.

I will look at old jars with a new eye when I am yardsales this year. Great idea to paint the lids. They would look great like that in my pantry.

I love old jars too. You might want to check them out on ebay though before you spray paint the lids. I have sold several old peanut butter jars and even just the lids for $20.00 or so. I love teh big old Miracle Whip Glass jars to hold my cupcake picks, baking liners and such. I also remember dropping a glass jar of Miracle Whip on my toe when I was little. OUCH.

great idea, I am inspired to go dig mine out of the garage!
xoxo, Tiffany

LOVE! Now to find all the goodies like you have to fill them up!!
