« Celebrating Summer | Main | Estate Sale Friday »

July 23, 2009

Looks like the gamble paid off! I'd be very happy indeed if I came away with that many goodies from the box! I'm hoping the sales are going to be better this week. Last week was a dud!

I'd be sending the same cut to GW too.

I'm looking forward to the Rt. 11 Yard Crawl through Northern VA in a couple of weeks - already have the hotel scoped out.

Have a great evening.

Girl you are the luckiest gambler out there! What a beautiful haul!!!!!

Gotta love Christmas in July!!

Kim G.

Smokin' good stuff in that two buck box!!!

You're not getting rid of those lovely satin balls, are you? (No, I don't want them either!)I never question the need for more Christmas ornaments.

holy cow did you hit the jackpot sister!! you got some wonderfully vintage items...you did good!!! I never find those deals..;)

Michelle Hersey

Once again you amaze me with your finds! Listen, I read the BEST book about a girl who goes to estate sales for a "living" as a picker for another seller. It's a mystery but the whole time she talked about old Bakelite items and her "trash" it made me think of you. I want to mail it to you if you'd like to read it, then you can pass it along to a friend, or save it to read again and again! hee hee
Email me your mailing address and I'll get it out to you tomorrow!
Have a wonderful Friday!

Elma Riedstra

You did it again!!! Love the treasures:)

so great to see you this past weekend laurie!
xoxo, Tiffany

$2 jackpot, if you ask me.

That $2 was definitely worth it. Of course if my mom sees that you are giving those satin balls to Goodwill she is going to have a fit. She loves those.

Hope you have a great weekend. Sorry that I have not been around too much- crazy week again. I love all your summer decorating!

You seem to find the pleasure in very simple things...What an art!
I love your blog and come away fully inspired.

I also donate my leftovers to the local Goodwill but I always feel a little sorry for the figural that is left alone in the box. That is why I have a basket of little guys too ugly to use...maybe someday I will have the nerve to cut the cord. Penny
