This time of year I just can't focus on one holiday. One minute I am making Christmas houses and the next I am doing a few more spun head Halloween gals. I did get this guy done....Mr. Man in the Moon.
I can't part with him. That is the only spun head I have ever seen of that style. He looked like the man in the moon to me...so that is who he became.
Vintage handmade crepe paper pants and a belt made of old paper scrap. I love his striped arms. He also has a couple more friends that are headed to Etsy tonight.
This kettle was calling for a witch to swoop in and brew up a potion,
This little witch is deep in conversation with Mr. black crow. I also like the field of glittery orange mushrooms.
When I recently posted on the old candlesticks that I rework, Barbara from Ooodles and Ooodles suggested I do a Halloween themed one. So I did.
A couple of old electric candles decked out in orange and black. I made the bump chenille flowers in a wonderful Halloween orange. The black millinery and leaves were scavenged from a vintage hat. Thanks for the suggestion Barbara.
This may be the last of my Halloween crafting. I have to get busy on Christmas. I hope to get these last few Halloween things listed on Etsy tonight. Now back to the studio...and time to switch holiday gears.
Oh I so want the gal with the mushrooms:) They are all adorable like allways:)

Okay, so the Christmas lights I'm on the fence about. But LOVE them done up for Halloween! I passed on them this past weekend AGAIN. How much do you want to bet I don't see anymore until Halloween is over....

Hey, I love the Halloween versions - especially the spiders. (Have I mentioned my complete lack of fear of spiders? I think they're pretty cool.) Mr. Man in the Moon reminds me of W.C. Fields.

love your halloween candles! I just picked up a few myself, and I am thinking how I want to "spook-ify" them! :)

Love the candles! They're spooktacular! And that witch with the cauldron is doing the perfect pose...she is totally casting a spell!

heh heh; from one spun cotton lover to another--I had to have one of your creations.
;-)
She does have a great pose; can't wait to put her in my collection!

oh, and now I'm kicking myself for not picking up black candle lights like the christmas ones you have here last year that were all the range at the 99cent store.
I didn't see them this year--but we have a weird house style that doesn't really have many windows that face the front; hence the reason I didn't indulge last year. My biggest pet peeve with this house--no picture window for the Christmas Tree.

OOooo...Mr Man in the MOON!!! Your ability to put together these pieces is just mind-boggling! They are whimsical, and I second whoever said they would like to watch you work on one of these. How many drawers, baskets and/or tins do you peer into looking for that "just right" piece? Happy Thursday...your package is going in the mail today....:o} *elaine*
