I think we had that same fake fireplace growing up!!!
We lived in Texas and didn't have a real fireplace, but that photo brought back good memories..how fun.

I think I had that fake fireplace too!! About a million years ago.

So do you have any poker chips with Scotties on them?? I'm always on the lookout.

Have a great weekend. I'm set up at the Flea Market this weekend and I'm already beat - it's just Friday!!

I gave my husband one years ago before he became my husband! He had an antique mantle in the upstairs living room but not fireplace. So, this fit inside the antique mantel perfectly! He took a bunch of orange halloween mini lights and laid them on the floor inside and it glowed like a real fire! Eventually, the sun faded it a bit and we bought a gas fireplace insert that took its place but we sure had fun with it for several years! Yours looks great!

Oh Laurie, the fireplace is so cute! I can't wait to see this among your Christmas decorations this year! We always spent Christmas at my grandparents' house, and they had a fireplace, where I would always hang a thick gray wool stocking from. When my husband and I were house-shopping 15 years ago, a fireplace was second on my list of must-haves.(First was a finished basement for all of hubby's musical equipment!) Alas, no fireplace here, so maybe I need to find one of these too, to satisfy my fireplace love!
Have a great weekend!
