Slim pickings once again in estate sale land. I hit one sale between my stops at Goodwill to try and find items for Ben's Halloween costume. One sale...here are my results.
2 chippy ivory stools and an great oval mirror.
One vintage deer vase in a wonderful blue color, a deck of orange Canasta cards featuring buttercups, and two pairs of clip-on earrings. I love how what I bought today has a color palette that works so well together.
I also have been neglectful in thanking Karina from Bunches and Bits for giving me the "Over the Top" blog award.
Thanks for the blog love Karina!
Lastly...wishing everyone a safe and happy Halloween. This is my kitchen windowsill that always has either fresh flowers or some holiday decoration making me smile as putter in the kitchen.
That is a Martha Halloween banner kit that I used with some vintage glass garland. The last of my dahlias from the yard add some color.
Happy Halloween! I hope you get lots of treats!

That deer vase is the best! Love it. I stayed in today - no thrifting/sale-ing here today but tomorrow...I must get out. Hope I am as lucky as you with my finds.
Happy Halloween! -amy

There is an estate sale tomorrow in Port Gibson, MS (about 2-1/2 hours from me) and the photos of antiques and jewelry, as well as GUNS, are breathtaking. I almost decided to make the drive but it will all probably be way too expensive. Port Gibson is close to Natchez, MS and it was spared by the Union soldiers during the Civil War as being "too beautiful to burn". Have a happy Halloween!

I love the stools... I wouldn't paint them... just leave them shabby chic.
Great finds.
Happy Halloween,
Mich. in Mich.

I'm always a sucker for stools - in fact I have my paper trash can sitting on one in my kitchen.
Have a safe, happy Halloween.

Awww - Thanks for the Thanks...I'm in love with those clip earrings. My daughter has been using them in her hair - adorable. But the chippy stools are my fave. One of my obsessions - litte stools and chairs! Have a Happy Halloween

Oh, some sweet, sweet stuff! Thanks for filling my scavenging need this weekend. I didn't get to any sales!
I have a table to go with your chippy stools. I need to post it this week!
Love your Lori Mitchell on the windowsill. I love her, too! I have a few pics on my "other" (stamping) blog.
Also, how you jazzed up Martha's banner. That's a clever idea I will keep in mind.

Isn't this a sad time of year, when the garage sales are all done? The stools are great, and that deer planter is the perfect shade of blue!
I started a new collection this weekend, and I've blamed you for it!
You might want to pop over and defend yourself!
