No estate sales today. I tried to hit one and got quite lost in spite of my trusy GPS. It was not meant to be today.
So instead of estate sale finds, I am sharing my Valentine Decorations...my house is full of pink and red fun.
Vintage candy boxes and glass jars filled with goodies.
Honeycomb balls hang from the chandelier..I can never get enough of them (especially if they are the striped kind)
My spun head gal (the giant one) in a large glass dome with a couple of vintage valentine boxes.
I would love to find more of these boxes.
Two old cardboard advertising boards for Volland Cards. (12 inches tall or so) I got these years ago at Goodwill when you could still find good stuff cheap. 49 cents each.
A pair of over the top glittery styrofoam urns full of red and pink. I also display a bunch of vintage valentines there as well.
I love these Ana candles. My daughter got me a new pair for Christmas.
I like the mismatched colors and the bold stripes,
Ms. Sweet Little Cupid and some other fun stuff. The cupid is perched on a couple of spools. One is a spool of raffia twine printed for "Albany Laundry - Famous Custom Laundered Shirts". The other is a roll of vintage paper labels for "Earl's Super Food Market in Madras, Oregon." I like using them as a perch.
I did a trade recently with Crystal who sent me this little gem. She is tucked in with my other holiday items. Isn't she sweet?
I had a small heavy metal red basket that was begging for something. I spent some time in the studio crafting some button flowers to fill it.
Pink and Red fun. I do love Valentine's Day (altho what holiday don't I love?) Have a great weekend!
P.S. More Valentine goodies coming on Monday evening to Etsy. Post to follow. I think some party birds also are flying that way as well.
Button flowers are one of my favorite things! And I love it when I can find a vintage belt buckle to turn into a flower.

Those urns - Wow. Buh-ling!
I collect chocolate covered cherry boxes as part of my Valentinie decor too. I usually find them at sales with things in them, but I only want the box. Have you seen the prices for big vintage heart shaped candy boxes on ebay? $120.00!!!!

I love your button flower basket. Too adorable!!! Also fun to know you're an Ana candle fan. I think I have some in every room of my house. I just wish they would make some of the columnar candles in sizes other than 3x3 but all of the colors are to die for.

I love those over the top sparkly urns! And the way you always use out of the ordinary things with your decorations. Those button flowers were the perfect touch for that basket!
