This is one of my favorite possessions. Her name is Bluebell. I found her at a house in the Hollywood Hills covered in ivy. Luckily my sister was able to strike a deal with the owner of the house and she ended up surprising me with Bluebell as a Christmas present.
Bluebell has her original paint. She is wearing a little sun suit and has the skirt of it gathered up to catch water. I love her curly hair. If you turn her around she has a big bow on her sun suit.
The original blue paint is still on the bow.
I love all the details on her. Look at these toes!
She weighs a ton and I have never seen another statue like her. She totally makes the list of my favorite vintage finds!
What a great find and how AWESOME your sis gave her to you as a Christmas gift! What a treasure!

So cute! My mom has a little girl statue in her yard named "Lucy" and I wish she had a little "Bluebell" for a friend. What adorable little toes.

Bluebell is a little darling, with her blue sun suit and her chubby little feet! Last garage sale season was a great one for me for finding old concrete statues. I hope the good luck continues this year!
I hope you're enjoying a nice long siesta right about now!
