Here is what filled my little cart at Farm Chicks. I didn't buy a ton, but bought fun stuff. I am a bit spoiled by my estate sales, so don't tend to overdo it...
Two old cottage cheese containers (old stock, unused) in a great pink color with good graphics. An old communion tray that I thought would be fun filled with tiny glass bottles and a single flower scattered here and there.
And this little handmade doll from Hutch Studios. The butterflies are from the studio also. I just like the simplicity of the doll and the little sign on her lap that reads "I like people who smile". I think this little gal pairs well with the pink of the old cottage cheese container, and I think I will display them together.
Like this (ignore the glare)
There is a t-shirt vendor that does peace themed items. I have bought from her before and though this design was great. Also bought two galvanized cherry picking buckets.
A great green tin container that I was told was for flowers at a cemetery in front of a gravestone. That doesn't bother me as i love the green color and the fact it is made of tin.
Two decks of playing cards with a book reading cat, some old beads (to be used for sequin trees) and two great photo holders made from old molds.
A pink tin bowl with original labels from these vendors. It is filled with sequins that I bought for my sequin trees. (I must have had them on the brain while I shopped)
And of course a Farm Chicks t-shirt...
I'm wearing my t-shirt tomorrow when I hit my weekly sales. Hoping it brings me good luck....
Great items and I love the pink containers!

What great t-shirts.
Do you use sequins that aren't vintage for your trees? Let me know and I think I can send some to you.

How great are those Jell-o molds? I love it all, of course. Isn't it nice to know that there are people who save cottage cheese containers, and people who sell them, and people who buy them?

Hi Laurie,
Love it all!!! The tee shirts
are adorable and I can't get
over those pink cottage cheese
containers. I wish they still
made things like that. : )

I love all of the treasures you brought home Laurie! Like the pink bowl and the little pink girl.
I remember my grandparents saving old cottage cheese containers. They were of the generation that saved everything, from bread wrappers to rubber bands!
I was wondering if your Mom is a collector? And if so, what kinds of things she collects. Just curious whether you got your creativity and collecting gene from your Mom!

Good stuff! Now I think I remember seeing you. I have a hard time recognizing people from blog pictures. Next time I will say hello. I haven't posted my finds yet, I need to take one more picture of something. I just love the show and will be back next year.

Fun stuff, once again! You have the best eye. I love the jello mold card holders. I have scads of those and never do a thing with them. This project is so simple....even I MIGHT find the time to do it!
