Whew! What a fun and fantastic weekend. Will be doing some longer posts on the Farm Chicks show soon. Here are a couple of shots from the show...more to come.
This is what you saw as you entered the show...A old Carnation truck. Totally adorable and lovely with vintage fun.
This was one of my favorite Farm Chicks displays. It was for a new bakery that is opening called Cake. (associated with my all time favorite restaurant Chaps). I'll have more shots of this unusual cake...but here is a peek..they had even piped it with icing trim!!!
Crazy few days ahead. Ben has his graduation ceremony tomorrow night. His high school does an all night party for the graduates...I have volunteered for a 3 a.m. shift!
The red, white and blue parade is about to hit Etsy as well. Wednesday night at 5 p.m. (pacific time) I will be listing some patriotic goodies. I've already pulled out some decorations at my house!
A whole patriotic group of spun head gals and Uncle Sam's.
A couple of sailor hats made from vintage newspaper.
A couple of sailor style baby shoes embellished for the holiday.
Time to play catch-up after a weekend away and get Ben officially graduated. Farm Chicks posts coming soon....promise.
Laundry, Grocery shopping, catching up on email....happy day, but first a good nights sleep.
oh my gosh these spun heads are darling. I love all the R/W/B
colors. Will any of these sell on your Etsy site?
3 am what were you thinking? Well somebody had to do it right.
Take Care
Nan

I think it's about time I made a trip to your Etsy store, don't you? Gotta add to the spun head stash at Chez Vintage Cee.

Wouldn't you just love to have that truck to take to estate sales. Think of all the goodies you could load in it! Knowing you it would have shelves inside all perfectly organized that we would all drool over when you posted it on your blog.
How fun it would be!

Laurie ~ I have been waiting for your patriotic spun head girls. I have my eye on one in your picture, but unfortunately, I have to be at my daughter's senior honors convocation that night. Would you consider a pre-sale? I totally understand if that not possible. Carol (Michigan)

I can only imagine how long it took for you to create those wonderful little patriotic figures.....so many details....they are too cute for words! I usually like the pastel color combos but red, white, and blue does look refreshing this time of year.
