I have a collection of vintage pottery ducks that I display outside. Each summer they seem to find a new spot to roost. Last summer they lived in a galvanized tub with flowers...this year the flock grew and they now live in my window box.
This is the window box outside my studio window. If you look very closely you can see my flock of vintage birds.
I think they are rather happy tucked in amongst the plants.
This pair seems to be hunting for bugs.
I really like the unexpected surprise they add in the window box and they have weathered well...this is their second summer outside.
I love this little feathered flock. They are just so tweet!
Love your ducks !!! I wish they would come over to my house and eat the slugs that seem to be munching on my petunias.
The aqua duck seems to be trying to hide behind that plant or maybe just keeping an eye on what you are doing inside.

So charming-- I love those ducks! I love unexpected surprises in the garden. I've got little gnomes tucked away in my garden. They make me smile.
Hugs,
Jill
PS: I received the sweetest comment on my Crown & Crumpet post the other day from the owner! ((Squeel!)) I have no idea how she found my silly little blog!

Laurie, you have some of the best
ideas! Love your flower box with
the sweet ducks and the pretty
plate on the front of it. What
is that pretty trailing white
flower called? So sweet!

Janis

I have one lonely chicken (orphaned salt and pepper) in a flowerpot - I think she needs some ducks to keep her company. That is a really cute idea!
