I have two more posts from my road trip to share and since there were no estates sales today, I decided to do a quick road trip post instead.
One of the highlights of our road trip was hitting a flea market at the Platte City High School. The halls of the high school were full of vendor tables as well as the gym and the cafeteria.
Here is a shot of the gym full of vendors and shoppers. This school has one of the most awesome mascot paintings I have ever seen in the background.
Look the tattoo on this guy! It has the initials of the high-school on it.
I bought lots of small things that I have already shared at this flea market. The one item I have not showed yet was this awesome outdoor chair.
The vendor I bought it from said it had been stored in an outbuilding in Missouri. He did not think it had ever been used. The paint is totally pristine on it and I love the cutout details. It is also a rocker.
I paid $24 for it which I thought was a good deal.
My mom took advantage of my purchase after the sale when I ran back inside.
OH I can't stand it!! What a deal!! 24 for that beautiful chair!! I tell you I so live in the wrong place every time I find a chair it is beyond help:) Have agreat weekend:)

This chair is great and yes, I think the price was a bargain! I have been watching for some of those old style metal lawn chairs all summer to no avail. Those type legs don't sink into the ground so they would be the perfect thing around my firepit. There is a house I can see from the Springwater trail where we sometimes ride our bikes that has a set of blue ones in the yard. They have those wonderful seashell style backs. I always have to stop and point and tell the husband, see, see, that's the kind I mean - LOL!

Okay, I'm so in love with that chair. I can't resist a rocker, and that cutout detail is so great!
