Kim from Camp Whimsy recently started collecting boxes of tiny ornaments. As I am putting away all my Christmas decorations at this point in time, I thought it timely to share what I have.
I have lots of the boxes of big ornaments, but really truly love the tiny boxes better.
The boxes have great graphics and many manufacturers.
I love it when the ornaments are lined up nice and tidy in the box.
I like the simple round ornaments, but these with netting are some of my favorites.
I also like the variety of these tiny ornaments. Even tho these have lost their original boxes I keep these all together..a tiny family of misfit ornies. These are all about quarter size or slightly larger.
This is one of those collections I KNOW I will be adding to this year..always happy to watch this one grow!
If you have an idea for a future collection challenge, leave me a comment and finish the sentence "Show me your collection of ______ ". I will see what I can do.
These are beautiful Laurie! I so like how much more thought went into such things back then. Now a days ornaments come in such boring looking boxes! I recently started collecting vintage boxes too. This year I got a small box of ornaments and a box of vintage lights; never been out of the box with wonderful graphics of Santa! How do you display these? I need ideas for next year!

I have a few of these boxes, but I just don't know how to display them to their best advantage, so they don't get unpacked. Can you share what you do with yours? The boxes sure are cute, even when they're empty!

Hi little lady! Holy smokes! I thought you would have a few of these, but geeze!! Awesome! I have only four so far, but I'm on the hunt!! Two of my boxes had the original cellophane windows but they were broken so I fixed them by gluing new cellophane on. I put them in a bowl. They are so cute they have been elevated to the year round display cabinet! Thank you for showing me your collection Laurie, you are the best!
