Man, if you were down here near New Orleans you'd be tarred and feathered for taking down your Christmas stuff so soon! Love your New Year collection, and I'm the same--never make it even CLOSE to midnight anymore. I might this year, though, since we'll be staying with a couple wild family members plus I want to stay up with Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper! Happy New Year, my very talented and creative friend!

re: ..."won't be putting these to use as I never make it to midnight!"

hey... that's what keeps the collection in minty condition!

Happy New Year to you, your family, and your 'Fan Club'. May the spun cotton head gods visit all of us every weekend!

Hi Laurie, I like your collection
of New Year's noise makers and
hats. I remember having the clown
maker and the red handled spinner
growing up. I wish I had them
now!! I don't make it to midnight
much anymore either!! Ohhhh....
I remember some late night New
Year's parties though. : )
Happy New Year to you and everyone!
Hugs,
Janis

Happy New year Laurie and it's been such a delight this past year getting to know you. May you and your family have the best of health and happiness in this next year.

The New Year has already been celebrated in Sydney so I figure we're all covered. I'll be in bed before the ball falls in NY. Happy New Year.

I've been up since 5 a.m., so I won't be making it to midnight either. I'm looking forward to keeping up with your blog in 2011. I know you will have lots of fascinating treasures from your collections to share.

Dear Laurie, Finding your blog this year has been such a highlight of this past year. I smile with each visit because you surprise me with yet another unexpected collection. Fascinating post on how you store your treasures. (Can't help myself, I even dream in OCD) You have an attic makes me adore you even more. I love attics! Collection of tiny ornaments, well as I said, unexpected and wonderful! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your whimsical personality and treasured artistic ability with us! New Year challenge ..... fish tank decorations! Elizabeth
