I took a deep breath on Monday after my show last weekend. Tuesday I had 20 people over for a cookie and ornament exchange. Wednesday and Thursday I took a little overnight shopping vacation with my mom to Seattle. Still too much on my holiday plate, but thought I would share a few snippets of my house...I DID get that decorated!
Some vintage Santa figures and a collection of old bottle-brush trees. I like having the trees clustered in the old handmade card baskets.
I got the guy on the right on my recent trip to Seattle.
I decided to cluster a bunch of my vintage trees in one spot this year - there is a huge variety when it comes to this forest.
I can't seem to get enough sparkle and color. There are paper whites coming up in the cream containers.
A Santa land in my kitchen nook.
These vintage foil candy containers that decorate my bannister are one of my favorite things.
I used to display all my tree toppers in glass candlestick holders. Then I got lazy and just put them in my cabinet with all my cream colored containers.
This little nook in my living room has a hodge podge of vintage items. Lots of holiday light boxes with great graphics and Santa figures.
More snippets to come...this is only the tip of the holiday decorating iceberg.
Happy weekend!
I have been checking in on you and I was starting to get worried. Now, I know you are busy like the rest of the world. Tee hee.
Love all of your decorating. All of those santas just make me smile. And the tree collection. WOW!! Have a great weekend.

Yay, Laurie! So fun to see how you display all of your goodies. And it's so fun to just sit and LOOK at all of your goodies! It sounds like you're enjoying the Christmas season.

Lady Magpie,
I SWEAR that you could and SHOULD have your own cable television show! Your collections are drop-dead amazing! Maybe I should make a call to Hollywood, and have someone do an "estate sale picker's" show. I'll say it again... YOU'RE THE BEST!

You not only have a great eye for this, but you know how to have fun with them too. It's always a shame to see cool stuff packed away for safe-keeping, or hidden so nobody can touch it. What's the point? This stuff is made to be loved! You always nail it.

So cute! I really love your banister. I saw a vintage framed jewelry Christmas tree at the antique mall yesterday. And it lit up! I'm awfully tempted....
Merry Christmas!
I'll be back to see more of your fabulous decor.

OK, I just showed your post to Kenna (told her this is where her Pokemon glass came from) and she was simply amazed. She actually said, I'm speechless." Not an easy feat! She loves your planter stand with all the trees. I know she's thinking of all the Pokemon she could display on it! LOL!
