My hutch in my dining room is home to my Santa mug collection as well as my snowman family.
I did not buy ANY new mugs this year. I have over 70. I was gifted some from a friend that were hers growing up...6 mugs and a pitcher. She knew that they would find a good home with me.
My snowmen live on top of the hutch.
One of my favorite holiday decorations is this old plastic tree that I hang all my vintage bells on. It folds up for storage and I have never seen another one like it. It is an awesome tree.
I have two of my smaller wreaths hanging from my built in corner cabinets. I also hung another clump of mercury glass danglers from my chandelier in the dining room like I did in the living room. The rooms run into one another and I like the common thread of wreaths and danglers.
More snippets to share tomorrow...
Happy Day

Your Christmas collections are just amazing and I cannot imagine how much time it must take to set it all up and then pack it all away again. I think it's wonderful that you put that time and care in to making your home so festive. Beautiful!

Wow Laurie now are these collections out all the time or do you store them away in the off season?

I love the Santa mug display -- especially the pitcher! I must keep my eyes peeled for one of those. I have a plastic tree just like yours. I love that it folds flat. Have a great Christmas, my friend.

Ooooooooh Laurie!!! This is definitely wonderful eye candy for
me!!! I LOVE the Santa mugs and how you displayed them along
with the vintage snowmen and the
tree with those adorable bell
ornaments. I have a few of the
H.H. small Santa mugs and I spied
the ones in the plastic wrapping
in your cabinet. Eeeeeek.....

I love your blog Laurie and I have really been enjoying your collection challenge posts. I, too, have a plastic tree like yours and it has all the original decorations and guess what most of them are?? BELLS!! I think that's so neat that you have yours decorated with what was meant to be on it!!
Merry Christmas from Minnesota!
