I picked up the moth ball vaporizer container on the right last week.
I already had the green tin. I was attracted to the color and graphics on them like a moth to a flame.
They are cute, but they needed to serve a purpose. Enter a common room deodorizer. Note the unattractive graphics. Not alot of charm to this everyday object.
Enter vintage camouflage. It slid in the can just right.
I can't tell you how perfect this tin worked for this purpose.
Leave it to you to be so ingenious to think of that! Ha Ha Ha...You bring such a smile to my face :-)
Love the graphics on those tins.

You are one smart cookie girl! I wish I used the rule of something needing to have dual purpose before I buy it.

I've always loved those tins, too. The colors, the design, but mostly... the tassel.
I'll bet yours smells much nicer than it did originally.

What a great idea! I love it when I can actually use my collectibles - probably helps me justify them - LOL!

I love the way you repurposed those! I usually shy away from those freshner things purely for aesthetic reasons-- you found the perfect solution! Brilliant!

What a fabulous idea! I would have passed those mothball things right by because I despise the smell of mothballs. I suppose it something has been around long enough, it gains a new scent (musty basement is one of my favorites, hehe). Go you!
