I hit a round of probably 5 sales this morning. I did well enough and can't complain. I found more Christmas than I have found in awhile.
Quite a few smaller size Christmas ornaments, vintage light bulbs and a box of ornament hangers (upper left corner of tray...I collect these boxes).
The red reindeer is a wrapping paper box which contained quite a few sheets of old wrapping paper and some vintage gift tags.
A package of adorable baby wrapping paper with birds wearing bonnets and a pair of plastic plates with a blue bird and flower scene.
A great old table top Christmas tree, a pair of spun snowmen and two vintage reindeer.
A darling little metal tray with children dressed up like cats.
Old plastic snowflakes. I have these in assorted colors and sizes and love them.
I was really happy to find a big assortment of vintage plastic flowers for crafting.
My very, very FAVORITE find of the day was this absolutely silly swim cap. It came with the original bag and is marked for ages 3 to 8. I will not model this cap as I have a big head...just imagine it on my noggin.
It sure brought a smile to my face. The best part was the woman did not charge me for it...she just said this was a gift with purchase.
That swim cap is too much! I've never seen one anything like it. You find the most unusual things, Laurie!

I'm disappointed that you didn't model that swim cap, but I've got a pretty good imagination, so I think I can picture it on you! It sure is a cutie, and so is that little tray. I went to a ton of sales today, and I came home empty-handed!

That swim cap was just waiting for you. How wonderful that it was FREE with all your delightful purchases. I'm loving your metal tray with the little girls dressed as cats. I found a vintage children's snow shovel last week with delightful graphics and your tray reminds me of my shovel. You always find the best goodies!!

Oh Magpie, you never cease to amaze me!
A favor? If you're not going to sell that tin with the children, can you take a picture of a front view? I'd love to use the images in my art journaling.
Happy Days!

Dang woman..........I'm foaming at the mouth. I've gotta' come visit sometime. Actually, my husband and I are doing much better lately and want to plan a trip to Olympic Park as that's where he was stationed in the navy. Is it anywhere near you?
