Shelley challenged me to show my collection of vintage toys. I do have some random ones that I will share at a later date, but today just decided to focus on one category of toys - baby rattles/teethers.
Simple, cute and charming. Those with faces.
Teething toy keys. These would need a good cleaning before I let a baby have a go at them!
This little lamb is just crazy cute.
A silver teething rattle with darling rabbit. This was actually in a hodge podge of a baby box that I bought quite awhile ago. You never know what you will find tucked in amongst things sometimes.
This baby thermometer I am just throwing in this post. Not a rattle, but dang cute for such a common thing as a bath thermometer. Unused in original box.
Short and sweet collection today. If you have an idea for a future collection challenge, please leave me a comment and finish the sentence "Show me your collection of _____". I will see what I can dig up!
happy day!
What a cute post to see this early with my cup of coffee :-) Love your use of bibs for your background.....the keys ring a bell with me and my own memories. Thanks for making my morning!

Wow, I don't think most of those teethers would pass safety inspection today, huh? All those beads, chains, etc.? Scary..but definitely cute.

Just thinking what Gloria said - all those little beads right in the mouth - it's a wonder anyone survived!

Have you ever shown a collection of paper dolls?

About a year ago I saw a darling Christmas tree with vintage baby rattles and shoes hanging like ornaments from satin ribbon. That was enough to set me loose on collecting. You have some very sweet ones. The lamb is darling. They can get pricey too. You have a magic magnet as usual. Smiles...Renee

Oh so sweet! I have one similar to the second photo that was mine. Looking at it, I wonder how we lived through infancy considering all those poorly attachied choking-size beads. Very cute to see but i doubt many of us would hand them to a baby now days - we've come a long way BABY!

Such sweet, darling faces on those baby rattles! Wow, some of those teethers are so nostalgic... those keys, those disk thingies. Great collection!
