I was number five to get in the door today thanks to my friend Debbie, who added my name to the list when she signed up last night. Unfortunately this particular sale was full of cherubs, gold gilt, crystals and a crazy amount of frou frou stuff. The crazy amount of frou frou stuff was really not what I search out.
In amongst the frou frou, I still found a tiny bit of stuff tho. Primarily stuff for crafting.
A box of florist wire which will be perfect for my reflector flowers. A bunch of pink ornament picks and a green bird with a terrific tail.
I am always happy to find old glitter in Costco size containers. These both contain ONE POUND of glitter and are pretty near full. I also found a bunch of white garland that is perfect to use for Christmas crafts.
Am glad the frou frou home yielded a few crafting treasures. At least I made out better than the lone potholder I got a few Fridays ago!
Hope your weekend is happy and thanks again Debbie!
That bird is a great color.

I wonder what in the world this person was glittering that she/he bought it by the pound?! That would last me a lifetime and half.

I adore the bird - of course! Great score on the glitter, too. We are having company tomorrow but I'm hoping to get out Sunday and see if there is anything left.

I was there too (long after you were) and just wrote a post about it. Will publish in a day or 2. It was quite the sale! Over the top, even for me!

No way...you hit a dud....well not really. Let me see glitter by the pound? How cute are those pink Christmas ornies. Well I am sure that next week will be less frou frou and more kitsch. Enjoy your painting....smiles...Renee

At least there was 'diamond dust.' I hate frou frou. Wish it could be outlawed. Or something.

Don't you love when you find the old glitter? I don't know that it's better than the new stuff but I like it! - Kathy

Laurie, Your Halloween Home Tour was just wonderful! It fun to see the umbrellas again with the addition of the died gloves - super! You have given us so many clever ways to display vintage items. Thank you so much for this! Have a great week ahead! Elizabeth

Fantastic glitter collection, Laurie! I have but a few jars of it, and hope to use it in some Christmas craft projects this year.
