I make tons of stuff to sell. That is the nature of what I do and I enjoy making things that other people enjoy. Occasionally I make something that I just can't part with.
The base of this arrangement was an old vintage plastic vase that I found at an estate sale. You can see it in its previous state in this photo. I really liked that it had handles and looked like a trophy. The vase is about 9 inches tall (the whole arrangement is about 15 inches high).
I glittered the base of the vase and it sat in my studio for a few months waiting to be finished. I finally got around to filling it. I used vintage picks, reflector flowers and rimmed the whole arrangement in old bottlebrush.
I had all intentions of including it in my upcoming sales. The glitter and sparkle is telling me I better keep it. So I am.
For those friends in the Portland area, my next sale is Friday at the SMILE station in Sellwood. (8210 SE 13th, sale hours are 11-8)
If you decide to pop by you will find me there and lots of stuff for sale, just not this little arrangement. It is a keeper and staying with me.
Happy Day!
Oh and what a keeper it is.I simply adore your creations.THanks for sharing. You never cease to amaze and inspire.

Just amazing. It is the kind that I would walk by and stop to look at at least every hour. Well done. I would never think to go that far with glitter but it works so well. Thanks for always sharing your magic...best of luck at the sale...smiles...Renee

Wow.....I would keep that too!
What a great idea to jazz up that plain white vase. Something that you would obviously think of doing since you're the Glitter Queen :-)
Good way to use up a tiny portion of your glitter collection huh? LOL
Good luck at your sale and as always.....SIGH

She's a keeper, that's for sure. I made my very first reflector flower yesterday. I turned mine into pin to wear at the Holiday Open House where I have my newest booth. I thought about you and your Magpie Ethel badge that you made after I made mine. I guess need to add my name somehow too.

Love it! And glad you took a time-out to make something just for you. It is so refreshing to make something where it is just about what YOU like and not about what someone else will like. Play time, just for you. You did good!
