I had my first Christmas show on Saturday and thought I would share my day with you. It is not all glamour and glitter for this girl, but some hard work as well.
I was up at 5:30 a.m. and out the door at 6:30. (I had packed my car the night before.) I stopped and grabbed a cup of Starbucks and was at the church to set up at 6:50. I had my car unloaded (multiple trips on a drizzly morning) by 7:15. The show opened at 9, so I had almost two full hours to set-up and futz with my goodies. This is what my booth looked like. (please ignore the bulletin boards in the background, this sale is in a church school cafeteria)
Picture after picture, my table was pretty full.
It was a good day. This particular sale also has a few perks to it that other sales don't have.
The treasure table. Donated vintage items from parishioners. I usually find a few treasures here. I can scope it out before the doors open.
The kitchen is open and they have food for sale. I look forward to their giant cinnamon rolls each year.
For lunch they have homemade lasagna. I remembered I should have taken a picture after I devoured it. It is nice to not have to bring your own food for a long day at a show. The show ended at 5 p.m. I had my car packed and I was headed home by 5:45. It was a great show and I enjoyed the customers and the other vendors. Bedtime was 9:30.
My next show is in two weeks. Enough time to do some more crafting and get some holiday Etsy listed. Tis the season....
I'll bet an 'after' pic of your booth would show it looking pretty devoured as well!

I was hoping to see an "after" pic as well! Still, I am sure that you were ready to tear down and head home.
Glad to hear it was a good sales day, a fun time, and they fed you well.

The only good thing about not being there...is not having to pack all your goodies I bought into the car. What an amazing assortment you had. Congrats on the show..smiles...Renee

Do you know another Lynn Spencer - I'm looking at the post above mine and thinking - I know I haven't posted!! We need to be introduced to each other!! And to think we both even know how to spell Lynn the right way.

As I do every year around this time, I click on all of your pictures to enlarge them and put my nose to the computer screen so I can see them even better. (and then I wipe the tears off the screen, since I live so far away.) Loveliness as always!
