Today's challenge came from Yvonne who asked to see my collection of doll furniture. This is another one of those categories, I don't actively collect in, but still somehow have a stash of it. I think I am drawn to its tiny size. I have childhood memories of playing with a dollhouse, but it was mostly decorating it and crafting items to go inside of it.
I have a few doll helpers to go along with today's post. I have also include a ruler in the background to help determine size.
A lovely vintage plastic fridge found at an estate sale.

A tiny metal chair and table. I love the color and chippy paint.

A line of wooden chairs in assorted sizes and styles.

A old wooden dining table.

A set of dressers. The one on the left has especially wonky drawers. I love the tiny matching set of lamps.

A more modern plastic couch in pink.

In addition to doll furniture I figured I would include dollhouses and related items in this post.
This is my favorite box that once held doll furniture. The box was empty when I bought it, but the graphics are darling.

I would have gladly paid this price for the DAISY Dining Room Set in green.

This metal dollhouse was a Goodwill purchase. I had to guard it in my cart as a woman asked if she could buy it instead of me and then stalked me thru the store.

It has those adorable vintage graphics. A nursery rhyme themed room.

A bathroom with a swan motif.

My second dollhouse is cardboard and is estate sale found.

You have to put it together.

One last item to share. I mentioned earlier about loving to make dollhouse furniture. I did not make this little vanity, but love the ingenious person who did. (sorry about the pictures, had to take them in the kitchen tonight as I forgot this item during this afternoons outdoor shoot.)
A cute little vanity with a swiss dot fabric skirt.

The backside with that handmade look complete with masking tape.

My favorite part of this vanity is the fact that the base is made from an old metal band-aid box. This crafter was resourceful!

Thank you Yvonne for his suggestion. It was fun to revisit these little treasures. If you have an idea for a future collection challenge leave me a comment and finish the sentence "Show me your collection of ____." I am always happy to see what I can find in my stash.
