I hit a number of estate sales this weekend. Two yesterday and three today...the season is starting once again. I hit one sale this morning and waited in line for about 20 minutes for them to open the door. I was number 10 waiting in line. When they finally opened they let FIVE people in the door. Crazy estate sale world.
Two old floral tablecloths and a large metal container.
A metal tole painted top for a cake plate, straw raffia for crafting and a slew of old black and white photos...one with a cute boy as a cowboy.
And for my blog readers that have a passion for quilts, I thought this one was fun.
A pair of tiny plastic lattices for spun head gals and a celluloid pig with a red hat.
A chalk-ware bunny and a plastic bunny rattle.
I got the masquerade masks in the above photo, but bought the bag of masks for these unusual ones below.
Some old plastic flowers for crafting. A bunch of old dennison style stickers. There was also a vintage water decal tucked in with them.
The vintage decal was a score. It is teeny tiny and features Peter Peter.
It was one of 30 different decals given away with Kellogg's Pep cereal. I would have been buying boxes of cereal left and right to get the series of decals!
An adorable set of bookends featuring a boy and a girl reading their books. Wonderful crazing and marked Japan on bottom.
A teeny bit of vintage Christmas and a pink storage cabinet.
A fun garland made with satin balls and mercury glass beads.
I love this Christmas themed rubber stamp set.
With some great rubber stamps.
A pair of old heavy curtains with good ivy graphics.
And last but not least this crazy Santa vinyl sheet that is meant to cover your garage door. Note how on the picture the Santa pretty much covers your ENTIRE garage door and the verbiage on the package also states is should fit a standard garage door.
In reality I think the packaging is a bit misleading.
Still like the jolly fellow tho. Hope your weekend is stellar and have a happy day!
The garage door 'cover' seems like the perfect addition to the porch full of Santas! Call me crazy, but I think my favorite among all this goodness is the little plastic lattice. Off to have a bowl full of Pep cereal.

Such wonderful additions to your collection of "stuff"! I hit two estate sales late yesterday, one soooo expensive nothing came home with me and the other three things...my favorite a terra cotta fish pot, that someone had made into an umbrella stand!! I love it soo different!

That hexagon quilt is rather intriguing because it is so dark. It makes me go hmmmm.
I went to a sale yesterday that was so YOU! Loads of ribbons and spools and tiny plastic things. It was fun to dig around in. (They were etsy artists too.)

Great finds, especially those little bookends. I think Renee, with her collection of children's books, will be Jonesing on those!
I squeezed in time for the J&N yesterday morning and was so glad I did. HUGE score of lace and vintage sewing patterns, among other things.

Great bookends! Oh, and that cake cover is really nice. Isn't this a fun time of the year.
I stopped at a neighborhood sale yesterday and got a bunch of fun "junk".
Happy cloudy day.

Only 5 went in at first? Was it a tiny, tiny elf house? Happy to see the first five in the door left behind some treasure for you. :-)

Great finds! You know I am loving that celluloid pig. Is he a bank? I guess you can count him in the Great American Pig Race :) Have a good week!
