Cleverly done , I love it all ! The light up star has got to be my FAV ... what a find !

they look great! i really love those barber shop bottles!

Musings from Kim K.

I will be visiting this post over and over again for inspiration. This weekend, the flamingo decorations get put away and out will come the red, white and blue! I'm completely smitten with the idea of using a drum as a base for your white feather tree. Brilliant! Love the light-up star too! Gosh, I love it all!

Well, I see I am not the first to think of the drum and a tree....seems I have that same image with my newest candy drum tin. Your house looks like the picture of fun and patriotism. Fantastic...Renee

Hi Laurie! I love all of your 4th of July decorations! So fun and cheerful and summery! That light up star is fabulous!

Into Vintage

The little stand from Farm Chicks looks perfect with the honeycomb balls and I am loving those patriotic cookie cutters!!

Milk bottle flag holders! And I just poured Bingo Number/Letter balls into them! I have to copy that for sure. How cool, the barn star has holes for lights to show thru! COOL!!

Ordinary objects?? There is nothing ordinary about your displays!! Yahoo for the red, white and blue!!

Love your blog! I've visited your blog before (we share mutual passion of anything 'vintage', but I didn't leave any messages). Shara at monkeybox referred me to you. I'll be visiting Portland soon, and wanted to ask a local some questions. Would you please be a dear and email me? Thank you so much!

mmmlonecedar...I don't have a way to contact you. Your email does not appear with your comment. Would be happy to answer any Portland questions you have...drop me your email.

Oh hells to the YA! Totally worth the wait!!

Your house looks great all decked out in Red, White and Blue! I've been scouring our house looking for those colors to pull together. You'd think with our wedding anniversary on that day that I would have more 4th of July decor around.....Thanks for keeping that lightbulb lit above my head with your posts :-)
Never a dull moment with your ideas.

Laurie, your decorations are beautiful! I love your eye for such vintage treasures!! xo Heather

Stop putting ideas in my head, it is full! LOL - just kidding. I love to see the way you weave everything together and make it come out just right.

Love the light up star!!!!The safty pin baskets are super cute to!!

Laurie, This has been the most fun seeing your 4th decorations. I am "saving" my wonderfuls purchased from your shop until I put together a display I'm working on still. I have to tell you I snipped the long stemmed "flowers" to be able to hang them as ornaments, and what a strange feeling the tinsel wire has!!! If you haven't bent it yourself, you're in for a satisfying treat! Again, thank you for sharing your art with us! Elizabeth
