I had a bunch or errands I needed to do this morning. I managed to fit three estate sales into the route I was taking. Errands + estate sales = productive morning.
Front left is a bird cage stand. I love to use them for hanging wreaths at my shows.
A box of vintage ornaments that included a spun head Santa and a tiny indented ornament with a mushroom scene.
A tiny pink plastic Santa, reindeer and sleigh.
Pink mercury glass garland, vintage bells and a metal Scotch tape container for my collection.
Another naked doll (to be gussied up in holiday attire), Swistraw and vintage foil netting (the latter two for crafting).
A kitten baby rattle and two packages of vintage photo mounting corners. The mounting corners are gray, a color I have not found before.
A cute bird planter and pipe cleaners.
A tin heart baking mold and my favorite purchase of the day...a honeycomb stork place card.
A bundle of old honeycomb bells and more ornaments.
I love a day like this. Crossed errands off my list and found some vintage goodies as well! Hope you had a happy one too.
Sounds like a great way to spend a Saturday!

Wow...great vintage Christmas haul. I'd love to score a bird cage stand. That little naked doll is going to look so cute once you spin some Magpie Ethel magic on it. I'd say we're living in the wrong part of Oregon :-( SIGH...I guess I'll have to keep dreaming through you posts.
Thanks for sharing. Have fun tomorrow!

I can't believe the number of estate sales that are in your area, unless you're willing to travel a lot farther than me. And that pink plastic Santa and sled just brought tears to my eyes. We had one just like that growing up (except that my brother very meticulously painted it) and we would hang it on one of the lowest branches of our rotating aluminum Christmas tree. Of course we also had a village scene under the tree, so as the tree rotated, Santa would fly over the town. Thanks for the memory.

You're the model of efficiency! Mushroom panorama ornaments are one of my favorite things ever.

Much of the stuff you get from estate sales is stuff that most people would overlook or push aside. But being the creative gal that you are, you see things THEY don't! Did I tell you how much I love the spunheads I just got from you? I know I did, but I'll say it again: I LOVE MY SPUNHEADS!

I love the stork and the pink Santa too. The Scotch tape is great. I got to some garage sales in town and found an old Flinch card game. I'm not in your league but I'm trying.
