The phone rang. This is what I heard.
Remember my friend that is cleaning out a family estate? She found more.
Vintage stickers and mailing labels with great graphics.
The oversize matchbook in the bottom corner is a nice find. I like how the matches inside always have some fun graphic. I collect them.
Lots of unused cardboard Santa figures.
4 boxes of smaller Shiny Brites, reindeer and a drum playing elf.
A vintage stocking and a garland of round foil shapes.
A great old manger scene ornament. I have not seen one like this before.
A couple more mica birds!
A flock of cotton birds.
A trio of sequin Santas.
A great ornament tree in the original box.
A cozy box for the tree to live in when not in use.
I noticed that Shiny Brite also had some other display shapes that I have never seen before.
Did you notice in the first photo there was a large cardboard box off to one side of the photo? It was full of these.
A huge assortment of sequin ornaments. These take some serious time and the person that did these had some talent with sequins.
Crazy spaceship shaped one.
What a great phone call to get! I love to hear those words VINTAGE CHRISTMAS!
Ok...I'm wide awake now! Those are my favorite words too "Vintage Christmas".Aren't those the best girlfriends to have? I have never seen those centerpiece display pieces before. How cool are those? In the original boxes too!I have a collection of those sequin ornaments. Some people think they're tacky but I love them!I just think they're special because someone took all that time to make those. Love the phone too by the way :-)
Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend!

You hit the jack pot...AGAIN! My Aunt dropped off 4 big boxes of vintage Christmas crafting supplies last week. I just found 10 of those sequin ornament kits (not assembled). I'm tempted to try a few this year.

Feel free to pass along my phone number...
You are truly (and officially) a vintage Christmas magnet. How fun would it be if you built a vintage Christmas museum for all of us to come & visit? :-)

I might have to quit reading any post that says vintage Christmas. Jealousy the green eyed cat is now living at my house, I don't like that cat!

My aunt used to make those sequin and bead ornaments. I remember when she let me pick out one to keep. I could not stop smiling. I found a few kits at a rummage sale. Now you have me wondering where those are. Is too early to say Merry Christmas?
