Gretchen challenged me to show my collection of vintage party invites. I have a good little assortment of them. The graphics are charming.
The majority of what I have are for children's birthday parties.
See what I mean about charming? Look how darling this little pair are!
Poodles invite you to parties.
Mice with party hats invite you too.
I love that some of these invites have the details of the parties written inside. A souvenir from a long ago party. Child's handwriting with the details. The invite on the right states the location as Stan's yard.
I found this one the other day.
I love how the barn door open up to see the specifics of the party.
A lone baby shower invite.
I love the wording on these old cards. Wouldn't you like this party to be thrown for you and be described as "Nice as nice can be". That would make anyone feel good.
Great idea for a challenge Gretchen! If you have an idea for a future collection challenge, leave me comment and finish the sentence "Show me your collection of _____." Always happy to share.
I hope you have a nice as nice can be day!
Cute collection of vintage party invites. The ones where there's writing are adorable! The graphics and wording on old cards and things were so much better.
I just love anything vintage....The Good Ole Days! My kids laugh when I talk about it and they roll their eyes but I think they're starting to realize that things used to be a lot simpler and better back when I was a kid LOL.....Am I that old?
Thanks for sharing :-)

The children's party invites are all cute enough to be framed. I do, however, wish the children in the barn would put their weapons away and just listen to the guitar music.

I wish I had keep the invitations I got when I was in elementary school. I sure they were cute too. Nice collection and they don't take up a lot of room.
