I have a weakness for vintage glass creamers. They are never very expensive at estate sales and I love it when you have a bunch that are displayed together. I am not a glass expert so I don't know the patterns of any of those I have collected. I just know that mine are all different and I like them.
For being such a utilitarian item, I love how charming they are with their different glass patterns, sizes and shapes.
This one has flowers etched on the glass, but was hard to get that detail to photograph.
I love to display them on a windowsill with spring flowers.
I have also used them for syrup when my daughter had a slumber party. Each girl had their own little container to use.
Yet another collection...did you notice I am getting close to 150!
If you have an idea for a future collection challenge, leave me a comment and finish the sentence "Show me your collection of _____". Always fun to share.
p.s. those little cards next to each creamer are from a vintage game called "Sentences".
I think you mention the most important thing about collecting in this post....I like it! Love the idea of using them at your daughter's slumber party!

Very nice! I love vintage ironstone creamers! I especially love the little individual creamers that they use in restaurants. And I love to put flowers in mine too!
I bought a little plastic easter candy holder and thought of you this weekend! Happy Tuesday! karen...

I love the flower on the windowsill idea. I may have to copy that one. I see these pitchers from time to time but have never been drawn to them simply because they are clear. But when you put a bunch together, that all changes! I have a full sized pitcher like your third picture only in pink. It's really heavy. Thanks for the decorating idea!
Heading up to Portland today. Alex's basketball team is in the state playoffs. Keep your fingers crossed that we win!

Love the idea of using them for individual syrup containers at a slumber party. Spring flower displays sound awfully nice right now too.

Hi Laurie, I loved your post about your bathroom. Boy are there nooks and crannies! I love the arch over the tub. You won't miss it? Lol! You have lived with this cute bathroom for so long and are ready to see it go, but it is only days old for us! Such fun. PS Now we know to add creamers to our collections! E

This is a sweet collection and very practical. I have used them to serve condiments for parties. The handle is handy and a spoon rests perfectly in the pouring spout.

I'm especially impressed with your pretty photos -- for some reason, I can't seem to take a good photo of clear glass ... must be my camera, right?
Those little sentence cards are a hoot! How fun to have a bunch of those framed together?! Love the colors too.

So funny, I collect them too, but we don't have any the same! I find that shocking! I do have a fair amount of milk glass ones...only a couple clear.
