My husband asks me that too when he walks in the door or how was my day then that :-) I'm sure anything you do doesn't make your hubby bat an eye especially when you're covered in glitter from head to toe or when you bring in your haul of goodies you find at your Mother Lode sales LOL. You must have a wonderful hubby like mine! I'm wondering what you're going to create with the pretty ruffles your sewing?????

Heather

Oh, so pretty! What will you be doing with them? xo Heather

Guess what I did today? Got snowed in (12") and couldn't get out of the driveway to get to work, so FREE DAY! Now I get to read blogs all night! ( oh wait, I do that at work too)

lori ventimiglia

so cool!!!

Kathy

I think we wear them down after a while - LOL!
Do you use a ruffler attachment to make those?

gail

I won't bore you with my long list of what I did but I sure love those ruffles........I hope to make some soon.
When I have the time....LOL!!

It is funny when they don't even react to our answers! We sure are lucky!! Can't wait to see where these ruffles end up!

Oh how I love crepe paper, and ruffles are even better! So many crafting possibilities. As a matter of fact, I was playing with crepe paper tonight!

I'm sure after all these years, he doesn't bat an eye when you gleefully bring home a new stash of old pipe cleaners and vintage Santas.....I would say by now, that he "gets" you....:)

It's a better question than " What's for dinner honey ? " That's when I always answer ... I don't know, whatcha makin' sweetie ? I love the look of those ruffles - by the way !!

What a fun way to spend the day!

Sheryl Remy

Great colors of crepe paper. Inspiration in the form of paper. Happy Crafting.

Oh, same here. (Although my answer does not usually include crepe paper.) I'm sure something fun is in store for your ruffles!

Janet Johnson

Those are beautiful. I'm sure you have something in mind for them... can't wait to see.

Erica / Golden Egg Vintage

I've been wanting to try that! Do you use a specific setting? Or do they kind of gather and bunch up on their own?
Thanks for the inspiration!
Erica :)

Ha! Awesome that he even knows what crepe paper is... mine would begin a whole series of followup questions on why the heck it's called "crepe" paper....

I think I would tell him because it's edible.

And delicious with fruit.

;)
