My husband always asks me that when he gets home from work at night. I always rattle off a long list of things that I have accomplished. Always something different each day...today part of my answer was "I sewed vintage crepe paper ruffles."
It sure made my day happy. My husband did not even bat an eye...he is used to answers like this.
My husband asks me that too when he walks in the door or how was my day then that :-) I'm sure anything you do doesn't make your hubby bat an eye especially when you're covered in glitter from head to toe or when you bring in your haul of goodies you find at your Mother Lode sales LOL. You must have a wonderful hubby like mine! I'm wondering what you're going to create with the pretty ruffles your sewing?????

I think we wear them down after a while - LOL!
Do you use a ruffler attachment to make those?

Oh how I love crepe paper, and ruffles are even better! So many crafting possibilities. As a matter of fact, I was playing with crepe paper tonight!
I'm sure after all these years, he doesn't bat an eye when you gleefully bring home a new stash of old pipe cleaners and vintage Santas.....I would say by now, that he "gets" you....:)

Oh, same here. (Although my answer does not usually include crepe paper.) I'm sure something fun is in store for your ruffles!

Those are beautiful. I'm sure you have something in mind for them... can't wait to see.

I've been wanting to try that! Do you use a specific setting? Or do they kind of gather and bunch up on their own?
Thanks for the inspiration!

Ha! Awesome that he even knows what crepe paper is... mine would begin a whole series of followup questions on why the heck it's called "crepe" paper....
I think I would tell him because it's edible.
And delicious with fruit.
