I shared a photo on a recent post of my cotton Easter chick collection.
I love the variety of hats that these little chicks wear.
For being such a simple item, these chicks sure have an assortment of headgear!
This Napoleon style hat is a favorite.
Now for my chick confession. I am a chick snob. I only collect the older chicks with the wire feet.
It must be some sort of vintage wire foot fetish.
True confession....but this fetish only applies to chick feet. I have no other feet issues.
You cracked me up!! My favorite hat is the one with the pink feather.
Are you packed and ready for TX??

I'm totally laughing at this post. Oh Queen of Holidays...you are certainly allowed to be a Easter chick snob. Love your sweet little chicks and their festive bonnets.
Wishing you a most beautiful and blessed Easter!

Laurie, you kill me! I am here choking on my omelette. Your collections never fail to amaze me! I rarely hear of estate sales here to even go look. We used to go to auctions...but you had to buy a whole box of crap for one treasure. But it's how I began my vintage Christmas collection. Love those dear little chicks...I have so little in the way of vintage Easter.

My room at the shop is decorated with your wonderful Easter decorations. People want to buy them but they ARE NOT FOR SALE!

Oh, you snob! Funny lady! The little chicks look so sweet all dressed up with their cute little bonnets. The one with the pink top hat seems to have a bit of an attitude......must be proud of his wire feet :>)

This post is hilarious!!
They're so cute.I have to admit I do have some with plastic feet....the chenille isn't as nice and they just don't look the same. You can also tell that they're not vintage.
Happy Easter!

Well, even YOU have to draw the line somewhere when it comes to vintage Holiday stuff! Cheap plastic chicken feet seems like a good place to draw it!

Great to see close ups of all these cuties. I love the little gal with the hair bow and what looks to my eye to be a hand muff. Even she knows how unpredictable the weather can be this time of year.
