I got home from a wonderful Texas Round Top Antique Show yesterday. A crazy, vintage filled week that I will never forget. Posts are coming...
I was hoping to come home after a weeks absence to some bathroom progress. My contractor was a busy man while I was gone.
When I LEFT FOR TEXAS this is what it looked like.
ONE WEEK LATER, when I returned. (excuse the poor photos...gloomy, rainy morning)
The floor had been tiled as well as the shower. Walls had been painted and custom cabinets had been installed (the drawers are not in place yet).
The wall along the one side of the room by this cabinet is where the sink and toilet will go. The wall will have subway tile wainscoting still to be completed.
Tiled shower with insert for shampoo. There is still finish work to do.
I could not be happier with how it has come along. Yes, the walls are pink....and my husband does not mind at all!
Happy day!
Laurie, it is looking SO great. Can't tell you how I envy all that storage. I thought it was cute before but this is even better.

I am pleasantly surprised at your bathroom's progress. I must have heard too many horror stories. This is just the icing on the cake after your return. Glad you had a great time. I'm looking forward to the pictures.

Wow....looks beautiful in there already. Can't imagine what it will look like when you put the finishing touches on it!Love the color!! Pink and a light vintage green and aqua are my fave colors.I have pink shelves and a hanging cabinet in our small half bath.Phil doesn't mind the pink either. The tile looks great in there.I have an urge to repaint a small table in there now :-) Thanks for all the inspiration and ideas.

What a fun treat to come home to-it looks so good! I love the pink, it will go well with all your vintage goodies.
I can't wait to see it all completed. I hope you give us tips on how to do Round Top. I dream of going one day!

Wonderful-- bet it looks even better in person! As much as we all love "vintage", "new" certainly is nice occasionally!!

Quite the difference from when we saw it! I love the tile and of course the pink walls. Brian also would have no issues with me painting our bathroom walls pink either. We sure are lucky!
Glad to hear that you are back and cannot wait to hear all about Round Top.
