I only had a short window of time this morning to hit sales. I hit one. It was one of the wackiest full to the brim hoarder houses I have ever seen. A lot of the stuff was junk...knick knacky junk. I did dig out some treasures though.
A couple of old floral tablecloths and a floral hat box.
A pair of crocheted (?) squares. I love the colors and I think they will be transformed into pillows. An old metal heart cake tin and a reindeer.
A hobnailed jar and a glass jar with lid embossed with the word Mayonnaise.
A dachshund toothpick holder and a pair of plastic little Halloween t-cups. I don't think the t-cups are particularly old, but I haven't seen them before and they will be fun to add to my Halloween decorations.
Eight old aluminum Bascal glasses and a sprig of sweet handcrafted flowers.
An old lidded green glass container.
Not too bad for a small window of time. I do love my jaunts into estate sale land. Certainly makes for a happy day!
Not bad for a quick stop!

Not too shabby for a quick trip. We were going to try to hit some sales before we left town but got a little overwhelmed trying to decide which way to go!
Have a great weekend!

Your Magpie radar zeroed in on the good stuff again! Those squares are interesting and don't really look like crochet. I wonder if they could be made on one of those potholder looms and then sewn together?

Awesome finds! I have a weenie dog similar to that but mine is a pin cushion...maybe the person made it into that? Happy hunting! karen....

Those squares are bright and colorful. They remind me of rag rugs, but fancier. Or nicer, I should say. I think they are made out of rag strips and then crocheted. Interesting!
Love he little sprig of handmade flowers. I keep my eye out for those since you started showing the ones you collected. I have daffodils made out of nut cups and they are lovely. More great junk for you!

You have found the best! Now it's Saturday afternoon; is there time to go 're-pick' when people have gotten some of the stuff out of the way???
