What a great idea to use them as a display with cookies and milk at Christmas! These are wonderful; so sad we are far too busy for this kind of thing nowadays.

Another thing I've never seen before! My favorite has to be the Borden's one. Something about human like cows makes me smile. : )

I've never seen any of those before. Those are darling! Hard to imagine that your milkman would take the time to sign those hang tags too.
Sigh, Guess that's why they called it "The Good Old Days"
Have a wonderful day!

I love the Borden milk one! My mom's name is Elsie and if I wanted to get into trouble I just had to call her Elsie the Cow!! :-)
We had a milkman when I was growing up, Dairy Fresh. He left milk and cream at the door twice a week! Sometimes if we were lucky, mom would get ice-cream, too. I miss those "good old days"!!

Well, I've never seen those before - they are great! Ralph, Cliff and George - love the old fashioned names.

Have you seen this auction on ebay? http://www.ebay.com/itm/10-Vintage-Hand-PAINTED-Spun-Cotton-Santa-Elf-Doll-Heads-1950s-LOT-christmas-/261286329379?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cd5e0fc23 They are HUGE!

I've never seen these either. Cute! Nice little reminder to put your milkman on your Xmas list too ;)

Those are so cute. Love the Elsie one. Those were the days when people had time to offer good customer service!!

What fun! never ever seen these before. Such fun graphics. Amazing that they were saved all these years. I especially like the plate of cookies that goes with the milk. Yum!

Hmm, must have been some very special milk men! 8+)

Wow, I have never seen these before, but they are so neat! Imagine a milk man! Oh, how I wish! ;) xo Heather

I'm awarding extra points for this collection on two counts. One, I love the graphics, and two, even Google couldn't bring up these images when Googled - only you!

This may be one of my favorite collections of yours. The graphics and sentiment are so sweet. Don't you wish you could go back in time and live in a world where your milkman sent you holiday cheer?

We used to have our milk delivered, I wonder if we got one of those cards? So cute!!!
I wonder if the Helm's bakery man gave out cards too? hugs! karen....

What a special glimpse into the past! A much more gentle nudge to spread Christmas cheer than our paper carrier who leaves an empty envelope her name on it. . .
Makes for an extraordinarily cute holiday collection. Thanks.

I've never ever seen these before....learn something new every day over here! And I'm glad to hear that it's 3 things that make a collection. I thought maybe it was 2, so I don't have nearly as many "collections" as I thought I did!

Wonderful graphics! We had a milkman when I was growing up, but I don't remember these.

Last week at the Goodwill, I was surprised to find a cute vintage watercolor tin that had never been used. I was thinking to myself -- I bet Laurie has a collection of these. So . . . How about showing me your collection of vintage watercolor paint tins.

Those are really neat. I remember the milk man we had in Indiana, for Allen County Dairy. We have these cool plastic glasses that were part of a giveaway or something.

My maternal grandfather worked for a dairy as well. She is on the lookout for a milf bottle from that dairy for me.

Great Post!!
