Patti challenged me to show my collection of holiday tins. I have a small collection of them. I have done a collection challenge on tins before (#65,#68 and #39) but today I am just showcasing holiday tins.
I have no idea that this tin held originally, but like the poinsettia design.
This blue eyed cutie is adorable...Miss Sunbeam. She is from the Sunbeam Bread Company.
I am partial to Santa of course.
This tin is from Mrs.Stevens candies of Chicago.
That company seems to make the cutest candy tins. This next tin is made by the same company.
One last Santa tin.
A fun little collection. Thanks for the suggestion Patti. (by the way Patti, I love the comments you leave, but can never reply back since you have a no reply email. Thanks for chiming in tho.) If you have an idea for a future collection challenge, leave me a comment and finish the sentence "Show me your collection of ___." Another week, another collection!
Now these bring back memories. Not because I am familar with these exact tins but because they remind me of my grandmother who would bake and send home something special just for me. Thanks Laurie your're a real peach.

I am on the hunt for a Sunbeam girl tin. I have seen a few on the blogs this season & have decided I need one. Tins are a new collection for me this year but I haven't narrowed them down to a specific graphic...yet. If it gets out of hand, I just may have to.
See you soon!

I have some Christmas tins but none with Santa on them! Those are darling! I've never seen the Sunbeam girl on anything else except for advertising bread. I really like the Santa in the 2nd pic. I'm going to get another cup of coffee and look at your other tin posts :-)
We're still frozen down this way!

I recently spotted that Sunbeam tin on Instagram and now I am sort of obsessed with finding it. Such an adorable face!
My favorite fruit cake tins are these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Colorful-Old-Rainbow-Fruit-Cake-Collectible-Tin-/160696365703?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item256a3ff287
I have about a dozen of them in all sorts of sizes. Love the Mercury beads and vintage goodies on the lid.

Busy couple of days for me but I did get to view 2 Magpie Ethel's in one morning. Joy!
Your table display is glorious. I hope you did well. I plan on reviewing this afternoon.
Stay warm...

What great items; brings back so many memories of having an adult open old tins so we could partake of my mom's awesome shortbread or mince tarts... Love the graphics (especially the Santas!)

My mother has that 2nd Santa tin too. I love the outrageously unkempt beard! Such a cute design.

Love the tins especially when they have good things inside of them (anything sweet but fruitcake).

Oh boy, that first Santa one is calling to me! lol I could easily start collecting x-mas tins. Haven't let myself "go there" yet, but I'm sure it's bound to happen!
Love your collection!

Okay maybe you have done this one before but...
Show me your collection of Angels.
I love angels, have a few and just got the most darling choir boy the other day at a thrift shop (now I am obsessed with those!) He will live with my angels.
I love your tins! karen....

Thanks! Knew you would have some good ones. The Sunbeam girl is awesome and of course the Santas are great too! Someday I'm gonna figure out how this all works! I will try to post my email if I can find where to do it!
