Karen from Recycled Rita challenge me to show a collection of angels. She collects them herself and wondered what my collection looked like. I don't actively seek out angels, but have acquired a heavenly group over the years. I did a post on spun head angels on challenge #137, but I have others beyond those.
Each year this little ceramic pair lives in my bathroom.
I have a trio of Gurley style vintage candles. This is a sad look angel
This pair of candles are much cuter than the other angel even though they are a bit faded. They are attached to their original cardboard base.
Three little ceramic angels that have been made into tassels hang from my living room lamp each holiday season.
I also have some darling ceramic head angels. Here we have one modelling the ever so angelic sombrero like hat.
The ceramic head angels with the netting bodies are so charming. In cream netting.
A darling angel in pink netting.
I also have a few sheets of vintage wrapping paper with angels.
Thank you Karen for your angelic challenge. If you have an idea for a future challenge, leave me a comment and finish the sentence "Show me your collection of ___." I know you are hanging on the edge of your seat for the next challenge post...
Happy day!
I'm in love with your tassel angels. They look so sweet in your dining room. I always enjoy seeing all the wonderful graphics on your wrapping paper too. I found some netting-style angels at an estate sale this fall. They were in the garage in a box under the wood bench. Another wonderful collection. Keep the Christmas magic coming!

The ceramic head angels with the cardboard bases are very similar to the ones I found at the flea market a few weeks ago. I love them! Brian recently found an angel Gurley at Goodwill that looks like it got it's head shrunk by a voodoo doctor. Still cute but kind of strange...
Have a great day!

Love your collection of angels! I'm partial to angels too. I have a wide asst of them but my favorite to collect are those angels with the ceramic heads and netting and cotton spun angels. There's lots of spun head ones floating around everywhere here. Yes....when I hear that word "spun heads or is it spunheads?" You pop into my head LOL.
Great collection to share :-)

I have a horrible knack fro dropping sweet little ceramic statutes and breaking off the heads. I have a drawer full of sweet little cherubic heads - now I see that I could actually use them! I'm not really an Angel person - but I love all of yours! I bought two Angel blowmolds last week, but I took them to the booth. If they don't sell, they will probably come home to live with me.

Love the cream netting angels... they look like they came right off my aunt's Christmas tree back 50 years ago!
