It seemed fitting on Christmas Eve to do a Night Before Christmas collection challenge. Someone asked me about a challenge like this last year, but I didn't have things together to do a post..this year I was prepared.
Was the Night before Christmas..
Vintage Shiny Brite ornament with Night before Christmas graphic.
Night before Christmas..cutest Gurley candle set ever.
The candles aren't in the best shape, but still charming. The little fellow looking up the chimney is just adorable.
Night before Christmas..assortment of vintage books.
A giveaway from a family that owned a Texaco gas station.
Little Golden Book, dated 1969
I especially love the older Night before Christmas books.
Dated 1939
There is nothing like the old illustrations.
Ho, Ho, Ho! If you have an idea for a future collection challenge leave me a comment and finish the sentence "Show me your collection of ___."
I hope Santa is good to you this year. Happy Holidays.
This is by far my most favorite Collection Challenge you have done all year! That Night Before Christmas Golden Book brought back the best memories for me. I had it when I was little and it was my favorite thing to unearth when getting out the Christmas decorations. I never understood why my mom wouldn't let me keep it out year round. Now I get it.
Merry Christmas to you and your family, Laurie!

This is a very sweet collection. Love that Gurley set. Great Santa graphics. Have a very Merry Christmas, Laurie. Santa should be good to you...he probably thinks you are one of his elves helping spread joy.

Love your collection of night before Christmas books! My Christmas post this year is taken from inside my 1949 copy. Funny, it has the exact same Santa picture on the cover as your 1969 copy but the fonts are different.

Wow! What a great collection Laurie... and perfect timing. I just love those old illustrations too... and Santa smoking! You won't see that on newer items. Happy Holidays to you and yours!
