Very fun! They don't seem to make too much New Year's decorations these days. And what they do make has no charm like the old designs. Happy 2014 to you!

Musings from Kim K.

I agree with Diane. I went to a couple of stores to look for New Year's eve things and left empty handed. Your collection is fantastic. Wishing you a very Happy New Year! I can't wait to see what estate sale treasures come home with you in 2014!

Great post for today! I just love the baby hanging on the clock cut out! I do have some party hats, horns and noisemakers that I saved because of you and your blog. I had all those in a big box ready to sell at my yard sale for a couple bucks and I pulled it out of my "Yard Sale" box a couple years ago and I put them out now. I must have been in the purge mode to have done that!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR to you too!

The only New Year's decoration that I have is that Dennison cutout so I don't put it out since it would look kind of silly by itself. People would wonder what was up with my naked baby decoration. I just added "Find Vintage New Year's Decorations" to my resolution's. Much more fun than work out more or eat less, huh?

Happy New Year, Friend!

Great vintage finds... those bells bring back memories; I haven't seen those in a long time! Love the celluloid fella - very dapper!

I have a box of hats and noisemakers I get out every Dec. 31st (geez, got to go do that this morning!) - I have had them so long, they probably qualify as "vintage" by now!

Happy New Year to you Laurie!

Happy New Year!!!
Your collection is awesome! I can't wait to see what 2014 will bring!
Thanks for all your sharing this year. You are really inspiring!

I just *knew* that you would have some awesome New Year goodies! The paper tablecloth is too cute. I only have a bunch of vintage noisemakers, I am sadly lacking in the New Years department. LOL I will keep looking for it though. Happy new Year to you!

I threw my display up of old hats and noisemakers today. I added in an old clock face and a baby just to make sure the theme wasn't lost on anyone. Ha. Glad to see that banner is FIRE PROOF. What kind of NYE party gets so out of hand that the banner bursts into flames? Happy New Year to you Laurie!

I love that last picture. He's such a dapper dude. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Your new top hat fellow is very cute. I love how the old New Year d├ęcor had the cutest little babies. I don't see that anymore. Too bad :>(
