I mixed up my spot where I display my reindeer collection. I moved it primarily because of the awesome reindeer head I found last year.
I displayed all my vintage trees and assorted reindeer in this little niche.
The wreath behind the giant head stays up year round.
A variety of trees and reindeer. I like them displayed together.
I also found one rubber reindeer face the other day at a local antique mall. I need to do something with it, but haven't had time. I think perhaps it was from a stuffed animal? Thoughts? I may make a kitschy holiday pillow with it.
Great collection!
That head would be great on a pillow!
I finally own a vintage deer -an albino Gurley candle!

Eeek! I need that giant reindeer head to scare my scaredy cat sister. Do you think it would fit on my head?
Love how you keep that wreath up year round. It would make me happy to look at it every day.
Merry Christmas!!

Yikes! How I love that deer head/face/thingie! Actually both of them...the one on the wall and the stuffed animal face. I have been loving deer this year and added a few to my collection. Now I realize I need a lot more. I blame you and your "magpie" tendancies...lol!

Love how you mixed the trees in with the reindeer. And thanks for reminding me-- I forgot to put out my Xmas pillows!

Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer had a very shiny nose......Oh wait, I'm looking at your blog! I have the song stuck in my head now LOL. Oh your house is just so cute!!! I told Phil I want to find the big paper mache head you have. I love how you put that wreath behind him. The last rubber face reindeer was a stuffed animal :-( I know you'll fix him though. A kitschy pillow would be cute! I can imagine what it would look like after you give it the "Magpie Ethel" touch.
Ok....have to get another cup of coffee to go through your Christmas blog again. I finally made a good haul over the weekend! Thought of you since it was a "digger" one.

Hi: I have vintage decoration envy! Have you done a post on the wreath behind the large reindeer's head? I love the use of smaller ornaments and jewelry on it.
Thanks for sharing your collections with us throughout the year. Merry Christmas!

Love the deer with trees. The new one does look like it was cut from a stuffed animal. A pillow would be darned cute!

My favorite "Land" of all... they are all so adorable and look great together. And that new large deer head? Fantastic! I have been so busy, I haven't had time to visit... now it is 1 am Christmas morning and I am finally getting a chance to catch up.
Merry Christmas Laurie!
