Your Valentine project is really pretty, especially considering the origins! I would imagine that you could do the same thing with a good size chunk of a cutter tablecloth, apron or other vintage textile. Love it!

Erica

I come across those tablecloths from time to time but never pick them up because I never knew what to do with them.....Until Now! Great idea but now I need to try and find some plastic frames. Shouldn't be too hard :-)

Glad you had a crafty weekend!

A wonderful idea, your Valentine frame looks great!,

Eddie Mitchell

Silly me! I thought you were going to weave crepe paper streamers through the holes in the frame! I just couldn't picture how it was going to work. I have no crafting vision! I think it came out really nice, but I like the Halloween ones better. I saw similar stuff in local Targets last year, but yours are much nicer.

Brilliant idea. Love that shade of pink for your Valentine project. Now, I know what to do with my vintage Halloween paper table cloths. Thank you!

Diane

Looks great!!

Beautiful! Such a cool idea. Also, I adore the crepe paper Halloween decoration I got from you last year! You're a talented chick! : )

Super cool!!! I will file this one in my brain under M (for Magpie) Will look at those plastic frames in a different light. Thanks so much for the idea ;-)

What a great way to display those scraps...otherwise they just languish in a box somewhere. I would have never thought of it. Guess I will be on the lookout for a frame for a scrap of Halloween crepe I have. Thanks, cutie! =D

Doreen

Love your project and Valentines display! When I first read your post and saw Crepe paper project and that you liked those frames for your project, I was thinking of something else....Couldn't figure it out until I kept reading! LOL You just gave me another great idea. I have an old Valentine paper tablecloth that I was trying to figure out what to do with! I see old plastic frames like those too. I'll have to keep my eyes open for them now.
Thanks for sharing :-)

Annette

That looks so great! It gives me ideas for other things. One thing I am good at is using spray paint!!

Shelley Germann

Very sweet project. Love seeing the things you repurpose!

Maureen

What a great Valentine project Laurie! It totally makes the display - well done in repurposing both the frame and the tablecloth!
