Part of the trip for Amy and I was junking our way back and forth through Oregon and California. We made lots of stops. Some were duds and some were good. These are my finds from the road. Amy spotted the estate sale sign, but thought it was more appropriate for me. I also found a great pinky/red metal stool which I need to recover.
I almost bought this little Easter bunny record on Ebay. I was excited to find one at a Chico antique store.
I have never seen a basket like this before. I have some lollipop holders that have these same graphics (made by Rosen), but the basket was new to me. I found it at an antique shop for $2.75!!
The silliest purchase, but my, oh, my are these child's shoes adorable. The color is amazing.A few ceramic figures for crafting and some ticket rolls for display.
A celluloid bird, a birdie pin and an owl pick.
We hit the printing company again and I bought the rest of some old stock pads that I left behind on our last stop there.
Old Ranch Romance magazines.
Handy Hanna hairdryer in a wonderful green. For display with a project I am working on.
Vintage angel heads and some larger bingo numbers.
I always buy old chair webbing when I find it. I got lucky with 6 packs!
I love this old mirror I got. There is a funny story to my finding it. I had to use the restroom at an antique shop in Medford. I was going about my business when I noticed the art of the wall was for sale. An unexpected bathroom bonus!
Another trip behind us. Great finds and the best junking buddy to hang out with. Where will the roads take us next?
I have an Easter picture record in my craft room. Slightly different than your own. Your bunny is quite lovely with his pretty tulips. Ranch Romance magazine...who knew? Of course you would find a mirror in the bathroom. Love the family graphics. Can't wait to see where the roads took you next!

What an amazing junking/roadtrip! I dragged Phil over to look at your posts. The best part too is that you have your junking buddy along with you!! I saw that bunny record on Etsy and seeing yours makes me kick myself for not buying it! Love the little basket you found. That's funny about how you found that mirror. Ruthie B's in Springfield (I think that's where it was) was a place that had stuff in their bathrooms for sale. I noticed all the estate/yard sales popping up everywhere now. Get to hit the flea mkt this morning!
Just love having my coffee with your blog:-)

Would you share the name of the antique shop in Chico? My daughter goes to college there and next time I am there I would love to hit an antique shop. Thanks so much! I really enjoy all your finds, such unique things.

Love the Easter Bunny record! More wonderful finds.
I know where you were next; can't wait to hear all about it! Did you see Tim Holtz there? He was "junkin" this weekend too.... ;)

I'm so glad you two had such a wonderful and successful time!! I have not seen those swim shoes ...ever! You really are controlled in what you buy...I think that would be the hard part for me. And next we see Junk Bonanza finds. Then it's time for Plucky...will the shopping never end??

Make room for me because I'm hijacking your next road trip :-)
I am loving that Estate Sale sign. Spotted in on Instagram and knew it was your post before I even saw your name. Amy was right, it is so you!
Have an awesome week! See you at Plucky :-)

I wondered if you would go back to the print shop. Happy to see that you did! Love the Estate Sale sign for YOU. There is a Flea market up the street that went out of business recently and they are remodeling the building. The Flea market sign is still out front at I WANT IT. I need to stop and ask about it, because I know it will go in the dumpster at some point. The recently tore down my old apartment building and the sign said, "Sunshine Place - a happy place to live" I'm still SICK I didn't ask for that sign!
