I have had my decorations up for almost a month now and now that it is officially July, it is time for my holiday post.
I got the F-L-A-G letters at Farm Chicks this year not knowing what I was going to do with them. Here is where they ended up.
Here is the front window from the inside. I used old honeycomb bells, tin funeral baskets and flags to round out the scene.
My big pink light up star sits on top of my hutch once again (another Farm Chicks find from a previous year). I need to restring in a new set of lights as one side is burned out.
Lots of red, white and blue on the coffee table.
Firecrackers and sparklers collected for graphics.
Vintage matchbooks from the US Army. Note how the matches are blue.
This is my favorite little vignette. I just found the sailor photo last weekend at an estate sale I worked at. It found a happy spot here.
The spinach can was a find earlier this year and works well with my vintage white tree decorated with plastic vintage stars.
Fourth of July post #2 coming tomorrow. More vintage, red, white and blue patriotic fun. Stay tuned....
That sweet sailor picture found the perfect home with you :-)

Running out of words to use on your posts! Awesome, great, cute, fantastic, wonderful, darling, nice, great, inspiring, magical, sweet, Wow!, Lucky, Love it etc...LOL
Love looking at your posts when you show off all your decorations for the holidays! I get so many ideas from you. I have a lot of those honeycomb bells in red and white and it never crossed my mind to use them for other holidays! They sold them for Christmas and the white ones for weddings. Just like the white Christmas trees. I'm going to be on the hunt for one now. We had a huge one but I need a smaller one. The sailor decorations fit right in with the pic you just found! I look at all of my solid colored glass ornaments in a different way now thanks to you! Are those vintage fireworks?
Thanks for the pics!

Sparklers for decorations, matches, bells and cans. I can't keep up with all the items you inspire me to add to my searches. A really beautifully decorated home.

Such happy things as always. I bought a huge box of those marquee letters at a sale for $2.00 along time ago. I made packets of words and sold them in my booth for $2.00 a LETTER and sold out. I kept a few for my self, but I wish I would have kept a full set so I could use them for every holiday. I do
have JUNK, Boo and HO HO HO.

Love the sparklers! Great decor Laurie - you have the best eye for vintage goodies and how to display them.

It would be so fun to be your neighbor! I would always walk my dog past your house to see what is new in the window! So cute! You are so creative!
