Another weekend, another round of sales. Friday was definitely the better day. At the first sale I hit on Friday I found absolutely NOTHING. As I was driving to the second sale (which only sounded mediocre) I was thinking that I might actually have a dud day.
The second sale I hit was a little old lady in her yard with things scattered about. It ended up being my best stop of the whole weekend.
From the little old lady I purchased a globe and a vintage cocktail shaker.
A lamp with a shade that is almost as big as me. It was just to retro crazy to pass up and will head to my garage sale.
Vintage postcards. Sometimes I tuck these in my Etsy orders with a note.
My best score was a set of Lu-Ray pastel dishes. Service for 8 including plates, 2 sizes of bowls, a platter, cups and saucers, small plates and a creamer and sugar. Score!
I also got a couple Fire King plates (on the right).
I hit this sale since the woman advertised craft supplies. I was super happy to find vintage bump chenille in the original packaging. 14 packs of it.
I hit a couple more sales after the little old lady sale. I found tidbits at those sales. A great owl cookie jar perfect for Halloween. The fishing book is for a fishing crazy nephew...I will tuck it on his Christmas gift this year.
A couple of cabinets and a crusty outdoor owl.
I do not have a fish. Yet I could not resist aquarium gravel in original packaging in bright yellow.
Last but not least this adorable wood duck. She is about 18 inches tall and is made in Western Germany. This is her Instagram photo.
Not bad. Not bad at all. Another weekend in estate sale land.
Totally in love with hose dishes and that owl cookie jar is totally awesome. Well done.

Love that owl cookie jar! He does look like he'd be perfect for Halloween. Wonder what's up with all these owls that everyone is finding or maybe they're just coming out of the woodworks. Are you going to dress up the outdoor owl for something?
The big outdoor flea mkt is tomorrow so I'm hoping to score something. Found some things today too :-)
Hope you have a wonderful rest of the weekend!

Those Lu-Ray dishes are so pretty. I have seen them from time to time and always admire them but they are usually almost always out of my price range. If you decide to keep them, they should fit in really well with your Easter egg colored house :-)
Off to the first flea market of the season with Rachel this morning. Wish us luck!

I love those crusty little cabinets. And I typed that before I read the comment above mine. :) I've already told you my love for the LuRay. I have a tiny stack of dessert saucers from my Great Grandma that I covet. I want to find a set someday - now you give me hope that I just might!

Those little cabinets are great. I have always loved Lu-Ray dishes. The colors are so unique to them. And not just vintage bump chenille, in it's original package, but various colors. Score!

A boat load of treasures! I love everything you bought. I stopped at a sale and bought a big ol' box full, too. The craziest things make us happy, don't they?
Your owl cookie jar is one I've never seen before... cute.

I'm not really sure if you ever sell straight-up finds on Etsy or just your crafted creations, but if you're thinking about selling those crusty cabinets please let me know!
