My first show is this weekend and my living room is full of holiday inventory.
I am in crazy prep mood. Boxes of goodies. Pricing and sorting so things can head to my various shows.
I am hoping to list holiday Etsy and have it up the week of the 17th. I will have a heads up on my blog like usual.
Some people have throw pillows on their couch. I have tinsel wreaths.
I have a total of 5 shows this year plus Etsy. There is a list on my sidebar if you are local. I am sharing a booth again with Amy at Monticello Antique Mall. I am also doing Plucky Maidens will will be fun to combine my found holiday stuff with that which I make.
My first show this weekend is At All Saints Church (Saturday, Nov 8th, 9-5, 39th and NE Glisan). I have done this show a number of years. It is my smallest show, but it gears me up to get ready for rest of the shows that will be right behind it.
Tis the season for craziness at my house. I also must confess that Kate's room is full of inventory as well...luckily I have an understanding husband and a daughter away at college.
Tis the season for Magpie Christmas magic!!!

Hanna, Maddie, and I will definitely be at Crafty Wonderland this year. I think we may miss Plucky though (gasp!). Justin Timberlake is the Thursday before it starts and that would mean making two trips to Portland in the same weekend. We will have to see how my concert recovery goes....
Good luck this weekend!

I am, as always, in complete awe of your crafting stamina. Can I assume you work on these all year?
I see your huge stash of Putz houses. I got a bee in my bonnet, about a week ago, to create some for the first time. I'm building them from scratch. I've always loved them, so I don't know why I haven't thought of it before. (Now that I'm planning on selling them, it might have been nice to get this epiphany a couple of months ago, but such is the curse of my creative mind.) Do you update old ones, or start from scratch?

I just want to shop in your living room! So much cuteness! I have never been to a craft show here in Michigan that has anyone selling the wonderful things you do.

I wish I could come to one of your shows. Everything is beautiful! I'm thinking of putting out some Christmas this weekend, even though my kitchen remodel still isn't done. I can work on the rest of the house. Hope you have a great show! You are going to have some lucky shoppers!

Question, Do you ever worry about running out of all that lovely vintage goodness? You seem to have amazing luck finding tons of stuff to craft with (I wish I had your luck) and I just wondered how you part with any of it. Good luck with your shows. I can't wait to see what you post in your shop!

I'm thinking about the time and effort invested. Good thing you love what you do... It looks like the troop amassed before a campaign. Best of luck this busy selling season. May health, happiness and profitability be yours.
